Left or right?
I'm ambidextrous! Well, actually I'm a lefty trained to use my right.

I'm right handed, but I'm used to using my left hand too. About 3 years I broke my right hand(fight) and I couldn't move my hand and fingers(shattered metacarpals). For a while I had to use my left hand for school. So I can use my left hand easily, but still not as good as my right.

Right handed normally, but i like to try stuff with my left, esp when bored.
Ive heard doing stuff like brush your teeth with your non-dominant hand is supposed to increase your coordination a billion fold or something. it's actually kind of hard to do 🤢

what coordination? my coordination sucks. That theory doesn't fit me. I use my non-dominate hand to do everyday things and I still have terrible hand-eye coordination, except when I practice.
When someone refers to being left or right handed is it usually based on overall performance or usually on writing?

I actually went back and checked the article I read on that and I got it wrong. Apparently showering with your eyes closed and brushing with your other hand are supposed to help your brain perceive movement better and your spatial recognition. it's from an old issue of wired 🤢

Oooh, I wanna do that but I never liked having shower water in my mouth. But, showering and brushing my teeth at the same time would save me time...and I LOVE trying out strange/weird/new things. Do you have to be showering to have your eyes closed? or can you just brush your teeth with your eyes closed? Wired, heard of it but never learned much about it. Also, is the showering with closed eyes while brushing teeth thing only referring to if you do it with your non dominate hand? I don't think it's much use with your dominant hand.

@ippy- you don't have to do them at the same time. the showering w/ eyes closed makes your brain have to understand your surroundings b/c your eyes aren't helping. the tooth brush thing I guess is just getting your brain used to using your awkward hand for something that needs a more precise movement
the showering thing is weird tho, it's something to at try once for fun 🤢
on topic- i'm right handed and all, but i use my left side just as well in martial arts as the right, don't know if that's just a coping thing tho?

Oh, you meant separately. I'm not sure about showering with my eye closed, especially when it comes to shaving. I don't think it's weird.
I tried brushing my teeth with my right hand before, it was a little strange to get used to but it helped because it was at a different angle than my left hand. I'm still trying to figure out what it means to be right or left-handed. Strange concept really. It's probably a coping thing. boring story: My brother doesn't know if I'm right-handed or left-handed.

My eyes are closed when I'm showering half the time, and my coordination's decent, I guess. I'll have to try the other sometime.

Left Handed. I throw and mouse with my right, but write and Wacom with my left. I also Wii with my left.
In a fight, I have better speed and accuracy with the right hand, but I can throw a lot more power with a lefty. Southpaw slammer.
Life is tough......but it's tougher if you're stupid.

Uh.. Wii w/right, nun chuck w/left. Coordination is bad there. Always miss the sensor on top of the TV.
