Calling for Love is only 14eps but the eps are looong, im only on ep5 now. i watch k,t,jdramas lol, long as they meet my requirements lol(comedy,romance,complete/close to complete).
Likable or Not is funny for the first idk 50-70eps, i think thn it gets really dramatic and draggy(IMO). thts why i skipped around to jus to finish it.

Yeah i started to download super rookie since many people talked about it in this thread =)
Likeable or not : dang, if only one half is funny and the other half is meladrama... i m not sure if i ll look it :'( i really don't like melo (in Smile,you i almost skipped all the end after the wedding.... the same for Bad Couple, only saw the first half before all the story revolve around curing cancer/saving the baby...)

thanks for the recommandation, but i'll try later xD actually i have 42 kdramas yet to see on my HDD (yeah i have a 1.5To HDD full of kdramas lol xD more than 100 series on it 😛 )

they get married and stuff, cuz after tht, u got drama and thn his father gets sick, and they hav to save him, and grandmother hates him and his mom so thts why it gets draggy to me lol....Smile, You, im only on ep 14(i think) i stopped watching for now, and now im watching Calling for Love lol...i too skip around when theres too much meladrama in it.

o jus wondering why u DL them, i usually go to mysoju.com to watch them online, tht site has info on them and makes it easy for bookmarking and watching lol....good luck with ur watching them shows lol

i m downloading them because i never searched to saw them online (and the only time i tried, i was refused cause i m not american or canadian on dramafever i think)
And the thing i like with downloading : i can choose which sub i use (most of the time it's soft subbed so it's nice, i don't like hardsub xD), plus the quality is generally better, sometimes you can find some in HD (720p) and since i saw them on my tv it's better xD

But i'll try Mysoju, it seem to be a nice site 😛
edit : uh there is some problem with the full size format... since my tv and my PC aren't with the same resolution, it take the PC, so the video is on 1366x768 (yeah i have a 15" laptop) on my tv (1920x1080)...

For Smile, You, yeah it's the same :

They got married near the end, episode 38~39 but at the same time the grandfather is diagnosed with cancer... and all the end is about trying him to be cured and praying and all the family cry during 6 episodes.... and i find it more boring and useless than depressing

I didn't bother going through all the recommendations given by others, but it is blasphemy if Hong Gil Dong hasn't popped up yet by this point, because it it's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. WATCH IT NOW.

I used to be a huge kpop fan until they got generic. But Big Bang, 2ne1 and 8ight are pretty good.

Yeah it's a good historical kdrama, but since i didn't liked it i didn't post it xD (like Iljimae, you should see that one if you liked hong gil dong, or the MBC version return of Iljimae, but the SBS version is far ahead in rating)

My favorite K-drama of all time is Evasive Inquiry Agency...but it's probably not to everyone's taste.

Coffee Prince is my second-favorite; I can' think of a third that I really loved. I've seen all quite a few, but they often feel draggy in the middle &/or get melodramatic at the end, and in general are a lot longer than J-dramas, so I have a hard time getting started on them. 😐

Makaveli : i finished Super Rookie and the beginning is a bit annoying (i hate the main character during episode 1 and 2) and i don't liked the ending, but overall it's a pretty good drama, funny =) Plus i really like the main girl, but she remind me to much of her when she played in Witch Yoo-hee 😛 I m pretty sure i already saw it a long time ago 😛 I started to see calling for love, and taiwanese isn't annoying =)

More importantly (not really xD) i'd like to talk about something i really really don't like, the most annoying think in drama for me (except those tear-jerking melodrama) : the spoiler episode 1 xD
I mean when the scenarist put some spoil about the drama in the episode 1 just to put more deep story to attract more viewer (i think it can be the only explanation to this ***** )
Sometimes it's not really annoying, like in My Girlfriend is a Gumiho (you learn nothing, except what the title say : his girlfriend is a gumiho)
Sometimes it's annoying like in Hong Gil Dong, it's spoil a little about the end or almost xD
And sometimes it's completlety crazy like in Ja Myung Go where you learn every important event that will happen during the story except the last 10minutes. seriously seeing episode 1 + last 10~20min of episode 39 is enough to know all the story from the start to the end. All the other episodes are just the filler to link each big event and how they happenned.
So anyone hate those spoiler start ? or is it just me ? (because i found there is so many that i don't understand why no1 talk about them xD)

You said movies, too, right? I saw two Korean movies a couple of years ago that absolutely blew me away. They're pretty well-known, I think, so I might not be too helpful here, but in case anyone hasn't seen them, they are worth looking for.

The Good, the Bad, and the Weird, a spaghetti (ramyeon?) western

The Host, a horror movie

Both star Song Kang-ho; both have offbeat humor twisted up with the drama.

Ok i finally finished Secret Garden and definitly it's a must to see xD
The end is really good and the fact that it's a happy ending but not flawless give a good feeling

The fact that the mother will never give them her blessing and don't consider KJW as her son

I finished to see Calling for love too, and... hardly average... seriously i don't like all the mess around the money. beginning in a funny way and promising but suddently it turns like a money is everything, love is blind and the girl don't care at all for herself and is too obedient. But it get better around ep.8 when the love start to grow more so it's not all bad.

And yeah i saw Hi, My Sweetheart and seriously is great =) Really funny, lovely and good =) I especially liked those badly made FX 😛
A must see drama =)

the next dramas i hoping to turn good are : My Princess (6 episodes actually) and New Tales of Gisaeng (i hope it will be good, start 11/01/23)

Ok i post some comments about the kdramas i saw since last month 😛
(my post is more for Makaveli than anything but... xD yes i'm in a drama mode recently... mangas are borings sometimes 😛 )

Dong Yi : really good historical drama. Similar to Yi San in many way (same plot with the poor girl ending as a royal noble consort) and in the same era (Yi San is Dong Yi's great grandchild). Plus the story seem to do the same thing that happened in Yi San (mostly court politic and external affairs with Qing empire). But the story focus more about the romance when the story in Yi San focus more in the historical part. I found that the differents plots were good and constant in quality unlike Yi San (some where really great but some where boring as hell)

My Country Calls : surprisingly good, especially in comedy =) The story isn't bad nor good but the comedy is really great.

Dream : not bad. The story is good but the development and the romance is... almost inexistant. I think it's more like a shonen, talking more about friendship than love 😛 So if you like shounen sport romance manga, you'll probably love this drama =)

Lawyers of the Great Republic Korea : classical drama... I like it but seriously i don't find it really realistic? especially the second male role...

Powerful Opponents : hehe i really like bodyguard story xD The drama is good but the ending is pretty weak and the dramatic story is a bit strange... But since Chae Rim is the main girl, i can't say anything bad 😛

now i'll see Golden Bride and after 3 episode i can say this drama will probably be one of the best family drama i saw 😛 And from the rating i doubt my hope are in vain xD I just hope there won't be a tear-jerking end like so many family drama...
