Wow... I'm amazed. Given that the whole premise of fansubs or scanlations is loosely based on piracy with some good intention of bringing content to a different market (I have been a member of fansub groups for anime, so I speak from personal experience), this whole conversation was painful to read. I feel for both parties in some ways, but also resent the animosity. There is already enough divisiveness and bitterness in the world, and most of us go to manga/anime as an escape from the doldrums of the of this reality, so seeing this kind of acidic banter leaves me feeling disappointed.

Aren't you guys going overboard. Have a friendly competition where speed and quality is the key. Who really cares if it is hosted here and there. Off course removing the credit page is wrong but think of constructive way to beat them. If the publishers get wind of this feud and get serious both will be shut down and whoever else is translating those publishers releases.

What is it with people copying others stuff without permission that they get so offended when other people copy their stuff without permission? I'll never understand that.
