I really liked Amelie too. ^_^ I'm working on being able to watch it without subtitles (either from memorizing it or getting better at French.. one of the two. =P). I also really liked Whisper of the Heart (Miyazaki film. XD) and pretty much any of the moderately less corny chick flicks. =\ when they go overboard on the lovey-dovey stuff, I want to puke. 😔
EDIT-- forgot Garden State. that's one of my favorites. plus the soundtrack is amazing. =D

Some flicks in my language which wont make any difference here so I wont mention 'em and I guess animation movies like Robots, Finding Nemo and I do love Saving Face.

Do you know what people did in the old days when they had secrets they didn't want to share?
They'd climb a mountain, find a tree, carve a hole in it, whisper the secret into the hole and cover it up with mud. That way, nobody else would ever learn the secret...
