That doesn't have to be the focus, but something where least one character (who shows up on a regular basis) is a drug user. They don't have to be like crack head level, but thats not bad either. It could be as minor as That 70s Show where every now and its a group of kids in a basement getting high.

The only one i've seen so far is Nana where one character is a coke head and another one got busted for marijuana possession.

I've seen Js before. I goto school and work downtown so they are a regular sight.
I've known a meth addict, but I don't think the drugs had gotten to her body yet because she still had a shape to her and looked attractive... but this is going off topic.

I'm looking more for recreational drug use (like regular people who do drugs in their free time) though. I don't mind a story about an addict since i'd imagine it would have alot of emotional ups and downs.

...How can nobody have brought up Akira... Tetsuo is a big drug user (pops a shit ton of pills).

Theres also Gantz. Theres some drugy's in it later on.

Gintama had a part in it about this kinda drug, and they were hired to go find and save this fat girl who was inslaved to this drug (to which they constantly make fun of how fat she is, lol ).

MPD Psycho has this drugy kinda guy (has this werid ear phones like device that feeds the drug right into his brain).

I'm pretty sure Get Backers had some drug use in it.

Also Walkin' Butterfly only had a small part with some people doing some drugs in the backround or something (from what i can remmber), and Confidential Confessions is made up of one volume storys about differnt subjects (like one volume can be about rape and anouther one about suicide, and i guess theres one thats about drug use aswell?).

And i think Eden and Shamo might of had some drug use in it or something...but i cant really remmber too well :/ .

yeah as the other guy said, I remember Switch was about drugs. Its about some cops that fight drugs and stuff, but one of them uses a drug to enhance his perception and reaction time. Interesting concept, good to try, but I warn you I stopped after a volume because every character looks exactly the same. It was ridiculous. but hey, you might be able to do better with it, good luck.
