So, just had seen someone misread "I want a full suit" as "I want a full shit" 🤣 . So I was curious about how often does it happen.

In my case, I don't usually misread, but quite often mishear (more connected to having a hearing loss). I do misread words, but they don't usually have a funny turn.

Interpreting something the wrong way works too, I guess. Share! 😀

Happens to me every single day.
To be quite honest several times a day.

I sometimes misread things but not as
often as I hear them.

I mishear/misread things all the time.

For example, if I'm ever skimming through a paper and see the word "pens", I almost always read it as the word "penis". 😳

Yes, a lot. What's annoying is when I write a response to someone, only to reread their post when I'm done and realize I misread one word, which I based my response on, making it useless XD

It's more often that people misunderstand me, though. I speak quietly and sometimes kind of slurred :/

I misread things often, but I reread to make sure it wasn't what I thought at first. How I read it, it has a perverted connotation, so I have to double check.

Doesn't happen to me that often, but when it does, it's usually multiple times in the same day.

I never misread anything. I ALWAYS hear things wrong. I remember my friend was talking to my other friend, and he said something about something, and I thought he said something about gym.. so I was like, "You have gym next period?" and they both started laughing because they were just saying that I couldn't hear right ;-:.

I never read things wrong.

But I am practically deaf when it comes to hearing other people speak; I always have to ask them to repeat things. It doesn't help that I have a very soft voice; often, they can't hear me either. Makes for great conversation.
