Hey everyone. My name is Starr. I'm eighteen, just finished my first year of college, and looking forward to a summer filled with laziness and daily anime and manga. ^^ I'm brand new here, and ti's 4 AM at the moment ... Which is bad because I'm supposed to be at 8 to drive an hour and a half to go to a family function. ><

Hoping to meet some new friends here while working on my manga list. The genres I enjoy are fantasy, romance, mystery, comedy, school life, shoujo, shounen ai, and occasionally yaoi.

Oh yeah. I'm also learning Japanese ... I'm thinking about having a career in the music industry and somehow relating a knowledge of Japanese in that. Maybe working in an overseas branch for a major label? -shrug- I have no clue. But I'm soon starting my second Japanese course, and while I have that whole career thing as an excuse (well, it's TRUE, but still...) to learn Japanese, as well as the fact that I'm taking my best friend to Japan once she graduates high school as a graduation present, there's also the fact that it'd be rad to be able to read manga and watch anime raw ... without waiting for subs. 🤢
