The key difference being intolerance. Most of whats being said is actually bigotry, not racism. Most if not all people are generally racist in some manner. To not be would be similar to Buddha/Christ etc. Theres a quote i've seen attributed to Buddha "No matter who you are I love you equally. -Buddha"

My point is that thinking your or your group is superior to others doesn't make you a bad person. Actively persecuting differing groups generaly is. Hating racists is being racist.

I dislike racism. Then again I've experienced racism. Not that verbal crap, but almost physical.

I visited my dad who stays in portland oregon (rosewood) In that area my father and I were the only black people. (his gf was white) I used to hang with some white guys and some romanian (or something simlar)

Anyways, we're chilling outside and one of the white kid's cousins starts messing with me. I called him pizza face because of his bad acne. (i think i was 13) He runs to the back shed and pulls out a baseball bat with the words "N-word beater". They chased after me for 8 blocks before giving up.

am against racism but i am equall y against people taking offence when it's not intented.
racism is every where but most of it is not intended to offend anyone or aNY GROUP OF PEOPLE.

common sense is knowing when to be offended and when not to be. but it doesn't mean one has to tolerate it.

sometimes you should just hold your head up high knowing that someone consideres you diffrent.

That being said, I'm sure everyone has their own kind of prejudice...
I for one, hate pervy guys and murderers, and skanky people. But that's mainly because of what they DO, not what they look like or something stupid like that.

I'm from germany,so I'm quite historical in touch with racism...
it's sad that even today there are not few racists in this world.even nazis though surprisingly in countrys like the US in much larger numbers than here....
anyways being racistic is simply dumb and ignorant.racists count to the most bloody bastards in this world and they are found in every race exactly like other scum:rapists,murderers etc....

as a person with around 20 different nationalities and being half black it is rather hard to be racist and i think this is a question very few will answer honestly since there are a lot of people who don't believe they are racist even though they are and i also can't stand people who can't take color jokes.

i picked Other: certain races do typically act different when compared to others, but im against the "white power" "asian pride" "black people are evil" and - (you get the idea)

I always thought that racism sprouted out from nationalism, knowing how nationalistic some of my friends are they are normally the first to make negative comments based on people's race, be it out of hate or jealousy.

As in my home town is particularly racist against foreigners because they either make considerably more money, or its just because they don't know what the insults mean. (This isn't a generalisation, if you have a foreign education you get money in a foreign currency and the living expenses in Thailand are so low you end up getting a retarded amount of money compared to the locals)

I really think nationalism or patriotism really can't exist without coming hand-in-hand with the hate and racism. So its bad but its not like I can do anything about it.
