this poll is about the reading/finsihed-lists and the option of having it public or not.

i have it not public. for totally unknown reasons. thats why i put this poll..

Hmm, not quite sure how I should vote. My reading list is public, but my finished list is not because I don't really use it...

When the list feature got out, I put all my lists as public...
But as I was posting a lot of pictures on the game thread, and that by viewing my lists people would get an extra clue that I wasn't expecting, I decided to not make them public anymore.
And from that time they are still not public because I still hope to post more stuff in that thread...
Other than that it doesn't bother me at all to put my lists public.

Hehe that doesn't work for me stealth cause I sometimes post stuff that are in my wish list which isn't public. Maybe I should make my reading and completed private as well since I post a lot of stuff there and am working on tons more stuff once the internet here in S.A. is back to full capacity. Expect it. Look forward to it. Believe it. Hehe. 😛

Edit: i mean... you can never read too much.. but i've read a little more than i thought i had read....

Yes, so when people want to suggest something they can check what I like/what i have already read. And vice versa.

Both my reading list and finished list are public. My wish list and my unfinished list aren't but that is only because there is nothing on it (yet) 🙂

I make my lists public because I want to and who knows.. if someone thinks they have the same taste as me they can get some suggestions via my public lists (I've rated everything too with 0.5 accuracy).

I've also noticed that some people don't want to make them public because of certain 'weird' reading preferences. I don't think that should be a reason because it's just text and pictures afterall, it's not illegal and it's also not like someone would suddenly grab you in the street, recognize you somehow from mangaupdates and than announce to the world whatever embarrising things you read right?! 😮

Heh... Well if it's on my "reading" list, I like it well enough to keep reading it, and if it's on my "unfinished" list then I don't.

I suppose I should do some ratings one of these days...also need to make sure my lists are complete, but that's going to be a big job.

I have mine public, because unlike Stealth, I want people who really need another clue to be able to get one when/if I post a picture.

Public... but it really doesn't help anyone else because I think all of mine are rated 10s. 😛

Haha... but, I guess I haven't truly appreciated the usefulness of the list feature... because I don't check other peoples'.

Mmm... but I guess it's good if other people are seeing if I'm up to date on reading what I have.
