Hitugaya might be "young" by SS standards but that could still mean he's a few hundred years old. I mean look at Urahara he left the SS over 100 years ago and he looks like he's maybe in his late 30's, and who knows how long he was a captain before that. Ichigo, on the other hand, is 15-16 years old and has no where near the experience needed to be a captain.

And Ukitake is 2000 years and he looks about 40. <3

I am aware of Hitsugaya being young but he is certainly older than Ichigo. I think that Hitsugaya is a bit more mature in some aspects. Though he still makes bad decisions occasionally. Though I guess that's human er shinigami error.

I agree that Yamamoto makes some harsh decisions, that could be considered as bad.. But I don't think he's evil at all.. He's just more wise and experienced, and always thinks about the bigger picture when he makes decisions..

Ichigo was born from a true-blooded Shinigami.... It seems that the hybrids in manga always excel... Gohan from DBZ/DBGT for example.

I notice you guys use Shinigami instead of Soul Reaper.... stick with the original series translation as opposed to the Dub phrasing?

you realize that he is identical to the ex-vice captain of rukia's squad, you know the one she so admired. i think captains over having to do their duties are figure heads who need to be strong over everything else, and there are only so many ppl who are at captain lvl strength.

I don't think he will be offered to join 13 Court Guards because he's supposed to be the substitute shinigami defending over Karakura Town, correct?
So unless they get someone else to do it for him I doubt it will happen; what about Ichigo's family aswell? he can't just leave them.

Also, when I was thinking about the 13 Court Guards I started thinking that Captain Hitsugaya would be a good replacement for the Captain Commander in the future, really just because he's so young and he's still on Par with people over 2 times his age [But that was completely off topic]

But maybe if Ichigo dies then goes to the Soul Society he might be a good Captain when he grows up.

lost his power after using Mugetsu. So unless he gets it back somehow, no way he becomes a captain or anything.
