All good things come to an end.
"You're gonna carry that weight"
It seems that after 11.5 years, a good thing has come to an end. Sept 20, 2008 was the final broadcast of Toonami, and it's time to say goodbye to a major part of my childhood.
Sept 21, 2008 saw the last baseball game that will be held in the legendary Yankee stadium, where dreams were born, realized, and immortalized, (as well as crushed)
Yes, sadly all good things must come to an end, and one is forced to move on.
Put on your old slippers as we sip some Nostalgia and walk down memory lane.

I'm sorry, but What the Fuck is that?!!?!?!
First Toonami loses all its good shows, then they kill it altogether, leaving no chance for redemption?!
that just killed my day.

I stopped watching Toonami once ll they were playing was Naruto filler, still it is sad; that was my childhood too.
Tree + Taco = Tree taco.
Hah... I had no idea that they were ending it all... Ah, fond memories. I hadn't watched it since just before Gundam SEED aired... kinda regret not watching Gundam SEED (well... I would prefer the subs anyway). Ah wait... that isn't true; I watched most of the "Month of Miyazaki" hehe.
Can you imagine an imaginary menagerie manager imagining managing an imaginary menagerie?

meh no toonami here in Canada, although they changed the timeslot for anime and switched it to Saturdays...
I'm kinda pissed about this because I have a little feeling they are gonna let that kid from "fried dynomite" i think it's called host for saturday nights to. That kid and his friends annoy me.....robots are cool. 😐

Normally I would be upset, but since Cartoon Network put the green light to start an Adventure Time series, I can't can't stand mad for too long at all.

Awww......I loved Toonami when I was younger, they have Sailor Moon, Voltron, DBZ, Powerpuff Girls, G-Force, etc. Watching CN was a staple of my youth days.
I read so much mangas, I'm too lazy to watch anime! 😛 😛 😛

Could care less about the Toonami thing. I didn't even have cable until two years ago and I hate watching censored/butchered anime. The end of Yankee Stadium though, that is just surreal.
.......... 😢 🙁 toonami was great...i never saw the last brodcast or the last game on yankee stadium...but toonami introduced me to anime/manga and yankee stadium is were i went to my first game....why did cartoon network have to stop toonami?and why build a million doller stadium right next to the old one?(note:longest post ive ever posted..) 😢 😢 😢
