Yeah, I meet people outside of school and work all the time. I usually play a lot of sports and make some good friends.
I prefer a small group of friends that are closely tied.
The same here, having a very closely small group of friends are more fun than a heck of a ton of friends 🙂 cuz some of them are sometime annoyed to me >:-(

I don't have friends. I don't go to school much, so my only friends are my books, and anyone I meet online.
"Friends" are overrated. Not true friends, "friends". I've had too many of them to count, what with the constant moving from one place to another.
There are times when you will miss what you never had. I wonder how you will find what you so desperately need.

Probably not. I'm terrible at meeting new people. My personality isn't anything special or interesting either so...
I guess that even by going to school I only have "friends". I don't even know how to tell if someone is your friend or just your "friend". It's kinda hard to tell. I do agrey with Casey: friends are over-rated. So is socialization.

... If I had never met the friends I already have, then... not really. xD My neighbors would still be my friends though, so I'd have a couple.

Don't think so. Met almost all of my friends through school (aside from online chats). I've had many friends, but I'm really bad at keeping in touch, so not many friendships have lasted. 🙄 Wondering if it was because I didn't care or just because I'm forgetful.

I met my best friend totally randomly whilst walking my dogs, so I would at least have her since we didn't go to the same school. In fact, she'd only just moved to my area. I was fate, lol.
My other closest frinds I met through school/university. I now have a lot of friends outside work, but I moved to Japan to work and the foreign community isn't very big in Yamagata so I'm not sure if this counts, since if I didn't have my current job I wouldn't be in Japan and therefore wouldn't have met them.
I am also friends with some of my brother and sister's friends since we are all pretty close age wise, so I would still have those friends. Plus I have a childhood friend I grew up wth, so I would still have him.
I would find friends though, I'm very chatty (too chatty most would say, lol)
The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.
Nope, and the friends I do have from school I can count on one hand 😢

Not at all lol. I grew up in my school (I was there from pre-K to high school before I moved to where I live now) and my family was pretty strict so they wouldn't let us outside to play with our neighbors when we were young, so if it weren't for school I wouldn't have met my best friend, my close friends, and many acquaintances now lol.
Having internet friends, however, is a different story lol.

I'd have one or two, but not many.

I probably wouldn't have friends. I would have social interaction with others, but I doubt they'd persist beyond the moment 😀

Yes.
Actually, I don't have any friends who I only know because of school/work.
I met them all going other places or doing other things.
