I'm looking for a manga that has a Gar main character. wondering what that is? it's the sheer manliness of a character that helps him overcome all obstacles, and puts you in a kickass mood. if someone tries to stop him, he blows them away

Some examples of Gar (In my opinion):
-Kamina from TTGL (Gar GOD!)
-Adult Simon from TTGL
-Hiruma from Eyeshield 21 (pretty much most of the deimon team really)
-Guts from Berserk (I don't like him as much because of low comedy =/)
-Kyon from Melancholy of Haruhi (He's Gar because he's got the cool indifferent attitude.)
-Kenshiro from Hokuto no Ken (he blows up people...)

  • I heard that Lelouche of Code Geass is pretty Gar too
  • Dante from Devil May Cry
  • Zaraki from Bleach is pretty Gar.

Watching these guys kick ass sends chills down my spine (especially TTGL and eyeshield)
any recommendations?

Histories strongest diciple kenichi: The teachers
Get Backers: A few in here.

Ubel Blatt - Koinzel
Sanctuary - Hojo and Asami are men among men.
Team Medical Dragon - Dr. Asada is more or less the Japanese version of Dr. House, need I say more?

Hmm there are a couple titles you might enjoy
Lone Wolf and Cub - An assasin killing a whole bunch of people, theres suppost to be a plot, but its about 80% killing 20% plot

Vagabond - Yo probably already heard of this one, not to heavy on comedy, but there is one strong *** dude and a lot of violence

Akumetsu - Even if you don't like my other recomendations, you will love this, trust me

Lastly maybe you'd like Gantz. At first I would call the character anything but manly, but it doesn't take long b4 he is single handedly destroying armies. Put me in a kickass mood, thats for sure.

Edit: Ah just remembered another great one, Until Death Do Us Part. As long as you either dont have and scientific knowledge past that of the 8th grade, or can deal with some wretched scientific explinations (serously some of the crap they tell you is so blatently wrong its funny) of whats going on, its great, tons of smack down. In order I think Akumetsu would be the thing you'd like the best, then this.

Kazuma from Kaze no Stigma
He is the garest !!!

Seriously this guy is the definition of the term you
just mentioned, plus this manga has a lot of comedy
in it.

" A term used towards male characters and individuals who are so overwhelmingly manly that your own masculinity is absolutely buried, leaving you naught but a whimpering, swooning girl-child before them." ~ urbandictionary.com

co-sign Kamina and simon

but...i dont feel "buried" with dante and kyon( haruhi got more GAR in her than he does..)

GTO- Onizuka....dude got shot and stabbed more times than any mobster, yakuza, biker, and your favorite rapper and still has the strength to save everybody.
