i would hardly call it an ending, it was just another chapter, also i believe that shioon will get his ki center repaired because of the influence of that medicine he eated..., remember he got a planarian regeneration like ability lol, so far now nobody except Chun-Woo knows that shioon took that medicine with tons of ki, i believe he attacked him knowing that he wouldt die

It dosen't matter because part 2 picks up right where part 1 left off.
I don't understand why he made a second part at all. I've heard it has something to do with the manga switching magazines but who knows.

Please take what I say with a grain of salt, because I'm no expert, but it seems to me that the story of Shioon has taken an abrupt turn from the point of view of INTERNAL martial arts, in that his qi (or chi, or ki, or whatever you call it) center was destroyed by his master.
But his body was also damaged before, just on merit of genetics, which if why he took that medicine.
The way I see it, there are five potential ways of make him able to contribute to the plot again aside from being there while awesome people fight:
- Regaining his qi center via another medicine or miracle of some sort
- Learning an entirely different martial art that doesn't rely on the part of his body that was destroyed by the nine arts dragon
- Using his new position as the head of a martial arts school to become a political power while badasses fight around him
- A combination of the first two
- A combination of the first three
It's early in the new series. While I'm not happy with how the first series ended, I'm eager to see what follows all the same. I'm sure that the author wouldn't have created this situation for a now-powerless Shioon unless he believed he could do something with it.

i think, it will be point 1. Because i think that in The Breaker the Ki/Qi/Chi ( however it is written) - center is a thing you need to be a martial artist in the "murim- world" ( was it murim? xD ) I think they mentioned it in the hospital or somewhere else.
And point 3 is just not what Shioon would do, at least i think and hope so so. He just wants to protect those who are important to him by himself. ( At least it started that way )
i think, he will somehow regain his ki-center due to a miracle. Like he's in real danger, or the girl who he wants to protect ( can't remember the name right now ) And then it's kind of magic and he has his power back.
And yeah, maybe then the old guys will accept him as leader. Or maybe not?
At least i hope, that it doesn't take too long until he gets his power back. I mean, it is something different, but somehow he has to get strong again. It would be good if he gets more mature because of this, and a little romance between him and a girl wouldn't be that bad either. But that's just my opinion
hope everyone can understand it 🤢
