If part of the wrapping is pushed down, I'll actually try to flatten it out. If it tears, I'll pull the hanging piece off.

if the water is cold enough to create condensation i do. i find that if the wrapper is wet, i end up playing with it, also if i'm really bored i remove it sometimes.
