Well, only Final Fantasy XIII will be imported to the Xbox360. Final Fantasy Versus XIII is still a PS3 exclusive... I think. xD I think they did that to keep some of the exclusitivity for the PS3 fanboys.

I'm not understanding the issue. I have a ps3 only, but I don't really care, the fact of the matter is I pay the same amount of money for the game and none of the profit goes to me, I'm not seeing how this effect me or any other gamer in anyway

honestly I don't quite like the current console war, its like back to the era of Three Kingdom, it really is.

First Wei was so dominant before the battle of the red cliff , like Sony with their Playstation couples years ago. But now we have Shu (wii) rise into a powerhouse, and Wu (xbox) gaining an equal stance with Wei.

I wish two of this three would be totally destroyed, so that one console will remain and take over all game developer and save us from buying 2 other consoles for each generation.

this multiplatforming is a good step, but still there would be lot of exclusive genres belong to each consoles.

Competition is good though. It encourages innovation, and keeps the companies motivated to overtop the other one.

If there was no competition, they wouldn't even try half as hard. 😐

Square Enix has just confirmed a couple of differences between the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 release of Final Fantasy XIII. In an interview in Famitsu they state that the video and audio is compressed on the Xbox 360 DVDs while the Playstation 3 version will be uncompressed and appear on a dual-layer blu-ray disc. The 360 version will obviously be released on multiple DVDs. This means that the uncompressed game will be 25GB minimum.

Dont tell me that having all the game in one DVD is a point of pride for the PS3 because im gonna laugh so hard I'll have to check my pants afterwards XD

Cmon PS3, production management-wise, is a total failure. Currently, AFAIK, they are in RED, hugely.
Not being able to "control" anymore the software houses, the result is in ancient series like FF going to the competitors (Xbox360)

PS3 was planned really BAD, and this is the outcome. Sorry for them (no M$ fanboy here, really) but thats the truth supported by FACTS.

My friend has an Xbox360 and i was ready to buy a PS3 JUST FOR FFXIII. Guess i've saved some cash XD
