I like cold eyes, dead ones -half open without future-

Cold eyes are cool, but i like then more if they also seem to have knowledge. LIke you look at then and feel they have heavy load on their back.(know something you don't)

Like Koinzell and Guts

Definitely the sharp knowledgeable type with some suffering, aka Koinzell. Personally, I'm partial to sharp eyes, like Koinzell's and Rikuo's from Nurarihyon no Mago, or even Keima's from TWGOK. But sharp eyes are more suited for anti-heros or villains, rather than actual heroes.

I find that the usual round-eyed happy-go-lucky protagonist (in certain cases where the protagonist is actually without a care and acts like a lunatic for no reason, not those who only act happy-go-lucky but are actually those who suffer in silence) are super annoying and piss me off half the time.

I usually don't like the "too good" type character with big round eyes, but something about Aladdin from Magi just pulls me in.
