We all know a little too well the classic cliches of shoujo, but I'm asking you guys which one you thought was the best one of all.

Could you please specify the characteristics that you think belong to "typical shoujo", since everyone has different opinions on what the cliches are? If you include love triangles, even Godchild has that. lol And it is one of the best shoujo mangas in my opinion.

I think something like Good Morning Call would be what classifies as a typical shoujo.

Well it will be some thing like Skip Beat this kind of story is not that typical but this kind of shojo manga is the ones i really like(the girl who want to show every one what she is capable to do on her on) 😃

Typical shoujo...hmm, Love Catalogue I think, yeah, also Parfait Tic! not a lot of people liked it but I really did. Lovely Complex and Koukou Debut too. Lol, I have a lot of these 'bests' but Love Catalogue is the most typical.

I also go by amatsu.

Something typical would be along the lines of Hot Gimmick? Though I'm not exactly a fan of the main leads. The story did have potential though.

Chizumi & Fujiomi is like the archetypal shoujo manga.

Hana Kimi was entertaining and cute for a predictable cliched crossdressing manga.

and of course Sailor Moon is the epitome of all mahou shoujos.
