Well, I think I might watch it on the internet... although, first I have to watch some of the actual anime or read the manga, first.... last time I did I was like, 4, and I only remember one scene. XD

Still, the commercials looked lame. The people can't act for beans.

Goku is a Japanese name, meaning "Sky". And they had Ernie Hudson (Who is black) play as Roshi's sensei Mutaito, which is also a Japanese name. I know that Goku's an alien, but the only ethicities Toriyama had in the manga were African, Native American, and Indian. Everyone else's ethnicity was unknown because Toriyama never said who everyone else was. So, if they had Asians play most of the other people who were of unknown ethnicity, then they could've cast an Asian for the role of Goku as well.

The evidence is always there, you just cant see it

i think one of the major problems with this movie is the plot and all the bad changes made to it. Goku was pretty much taught by the world in his early childhood basically, which can attest to his extreme kind hearted nature. the fact that he's being placed in a school in this film, as a regular teenager seems to kind of eliminate the special nature of his childhood. the setting is a little to bad and fanfictionish in a whole. (not that i have anything against fanfiction).

i regretably saw the movie and it just a load of bull. Bad acting ,obvious cg animations in parts that should not have needed it, th plot of the movie is soooo jacked up it almost made me think badly of Dragonball the animation and manga. I didnt exactly pay for it but it was just a waste of my time
