Remember Watching Movies On Tapes?

When I was a kid we borrowed Lady and the Tramp from our neighbors.. and nearing the end the tape got tangled, ripped and I never got to see the end of the movie. It was like 15 years ago and I can still remember how mad i was when it happened.
I still have this VHS recorder, right now it's sitting on my windowsill waiting to get repaired.
Last year while on a trip abroad I bought myself a sealed VHS of my favorite concert, and the feeling of finding something like that was.. you can't compare it to buying a DVD.
The same reason why I'm still using a Walkman. You buy a tape, you have the cover, the leaflet with lyrics, the smell.. And you don't take it for granted as much as an mp3. Some tapes took me a few months to find, but now I can treasure them.. The sound quality varies, but a sealed tape's sound is sooo better than a mp3 (while old tapes sound... well.. 90's)..

YES! There was this one time I was so thrilled because my mom brought home re-winder that was shaped like a car. 🤣
