How could Noblesse have NOT gotten mentioned ?!?!?!
Anyways, the main male lead is calm, cool and collected. At battles everyone kinda belittle him and the usual villain like Jake wants to "fix his attitude" cause hes a pretty boy and everything and Jake thinks he's so great and everything cause he underwent another upgrade experiment and Rai just went.. KNEEL and .... :D This is jut 1 example out of MANY

Its mostly because minor characters that only show up a few chaps and die, are usually the ones humiliated. Kinda feels like they weren't even there, but yeah ill second him that this scene fit perfectly. barely even acknowledges he is there.... sometimes I forget just how brutal rai is lol

At some point in the story, both main male characters lose everything. By everything, I mean home, family, fortune, and, in the case of the second, career (the first is a high school student). The first gets it back pretty quickly; I don't yet know how long it will take the second to recover - I'm assuming he does.
