My wife is both cute, and reads manga herself.... I don't think I would have to worry about what she would say if I told her I read manga...

Replying to some of the earlier posts...I just want to say, not that I have anything against geeks or whatever..I am not a geek, I'm not dumb either, and I am not a minger 🙂 None of the people in my school don't even read manga, they aren't even into this stuff, it's just me and it's my secret that only I know of. But saying gals who like manga+anime like myself are mingers/weird/ugly is just being stereotype...but if you're saying that about girls, then aren't all the guys the same? 😀

I'm a girl. And I don't count as hot, but who says that girls don't like geeks? Personally I think that girls aren't as shallow as guys and pretty girls are more likely to go for geeky guys then hot guys for geeky girls.

to your example, i believe thats more like a matter of probability
there are more pretty geeky girls than pretty geeky guys, and also a pretty girl only goes for a geeky guy if she herself a geeky, at least a bit...
also i think that pretty geeky guys arent as shallow as "normal" guys..
and i just realize that i,ve used pretty, pretty often...

I'm a girl and completely in love with anime/manga. I'm one of the more 'popular girls' in my school and am pretty open with being an otaku, most people close to me know that i read alot of manga and cosplay.
I would definitely date a full blown otaku or really geeky... that i was attracted to. As a plus, isn't being nerdy really in style now anyways?
