I agree about the old man, wasn't there an old man with Byakuya when they talked to Rukia about being accepted into the family? Can't quite remember, been a while since I read that part.

I might just be projecting an image on that unknown Vice but... Isn't that Byakuya? His hair looks similar and it seems he is in the 6th Division.
