In a MMORPG, you assume that a female character is actually a guy..

I do this to get free items from high level characters.

I have a 14 and a 15 year old cousin that are both girls that play video games. Heck even my 19, 21, and 25 year old female cousins play video games. I've been beaten by them sometimes too in such games like Super monkey ball 2 and Naruto: Clash of ninja 2. Of course there's more but whatever.

BTW I'm 18 and they beat me at a younger age before too.

I'm a girl gamer, and I hate how often I'm stereotyped! And hit on, but that's another story.
I mean, guys never believe I'm really a girl, and just assume I'm some stupid noob because I'm female. Honestly, I probably play more games than them, and for longer periods of time, and they're calling ME a noob? Bah!

Although, there are quite a few guys I've met while playing MMORPGs who are relatively fair on the subject. Well, actually..for the most part, I've heard: "who cares if it's a girl, as long as she helps in the party!" 🤣

Ehehe, it's stereotypes like these that certain girl gamers form teams to specifically take down guy gamers... but there really aren't enough girls playing the variety of games that guys do =/ Sad times...

Ahahaha...ha... why would any girl want to play clerics, when playing warriors is so much easier? O.o

I'm a girl, and while I don't really play MMORPGs (they don't keep my interest, since I'm not big on social gaming) or fighting games (gah!), I love RPGs (and therefore love my PS2). How much time I spend gaming depends on the game plot, and I'll be honest, half the time I don't even finish them. And I'm not a completionist, can't understand that mentality.

I s'pose I'm not really a hardcore gamer, then. But my two-cents on the whole stereotypical "girl" classes in MMORPGs: it's just what people see in anime/RPGs. The healer/spiritual types are very often female, and thus I can see why people expect girls to play healer/spiritual types.

Hell if I ever will. A loner cleric can never level in MMORPGs 🙄

I'm a female gamer... and though my roomies aren't that stereotypical when it comes to female gamers.. they still hate the fact that I've KO'd them on every game we've ever played together.. they like to think that girls just shouldn't be as good as guys and definitely not better, I guess....

Mmm...it's not like girls have a disadvantage in playing video games, since it usually doesn't require physical strength or height or anything =/

1. Those that look at a console as if it was a plague
2. Those that actually are gamers
3. Those that would play once a year to be nice to their boyfriends
