every 30 seconds somebody dies in this world, every 3 seconds sombody dies of poverty, every day 150,000 die . u gonna grieve for all those people now that u no? yea its true we cannot change the past, but aint no way we can learn from dis, ppl are multifaceted, if u gonna stop every incident like dis, u rgonna have to be a good mind reader or a very influencial Messiah-like politician. now if i had to weigh between those these strangers with the 2-3 people that i KNOW in my own community, it doesnt even faze me. yea its tragic, but aint nothing we can do about it, and arguing over it is no more than making fun of it.

as for the Sean Bell incident, dats somin we can do about it, politicians are voted in by us, OBAMA 08.

Are you? If not then stop complaining about the media telling the stories of some. True, many incidents are not reported by the media, but in my mind, some is better than none. The purpose of the media is to bring news to the public, and if you have a problem with how they are doing that, then do something about it, don't just brush everything off as them "puporsely exlpoit[ing] for ratings".

What about the many, many times this person said that he going to do this, even to the point of announcing basically "Ok, I'm gonna go do this now.". Maybe we could learn from that and maybe actually pay attention the next times someone starts publicly making plans to kill people.

um, i said there's nothing we can do about it unless we are 1) superman 2) a damn good politician or 3) psychic. i can easily proclaim here that i'll shoot up a mall like 50 times, but unless u can read my mind, u wouldnt rele know if i was joking or not. ppl are multifacted its impossible to rele tell unless u knew the person in real life. now even if u did would society as a whole pay mind to some guy making weightless threats? http://www.ukmix.org/articles/2000/mtv.html all of us have the ability to kill within us, its just a matter of pulling the wrong strings to set it off.

Yeah i read in the papers that he said before on the net he would do it. He said he would crash a car in the people and if it doesnt work he would use a knife.

I was stabbed a few years ago. It missed the liver for about 1 cm (I think its less than an inch but I not sure), if not I wouldn't be talking about it now for what the doctor told me then. I'm really not interested in this kind of story, I mean yes shit happen everyday and everywhere. I live in a third world country, Argentina, and I'm sure it happens also in the first-world countries. Now three years later I'm still alive and the bastard is... well the justice here doesn't know but that ain't gonna stop me and if he is still alive and free I just hope he could change it doesn't make me fell better thinking of him as being dead ( well maybe just a little better), but I know this happen since before we evolve and will continue to happen.
So this is what I like to do about this fell sorry for them but when I change the news channel I would do as every one else not directly touched by this tragic event, forget it. Even the families will learn to forget that and if they don't I'm more sorry for them than for the dead ones.
Thats all I will say about this.
