Do you actually pay attention to the credits?

Only if I like what I'm reading. Then I go and comment about it on the scanalators website.

I used to scanlate manga so I really try to read the credits everytime I read something. I know the feeling when you see your name on the credits page and well... I know other scanlators must feel good too when yeah, I don't even know if I'm making any sense.
I also go by amatsu.

sometimes. It's hard to miss it if you see it over and over again. Also, if the design is really pretty, I would look and them, appreciate it for a few second before turn it over 🤣

Sometimes, but it gets annoying if it was too frequent.
Whenever I download a chapter and compile it into whole volume, I usually remove some Scanslator credit page but not deleting the entire of it so that I would remeber who made it possible for us to enjoy the Scanslations. 🙂

Normally I just read the group's name, admire it if there's a pretty picture. If there are comments, I generally read them, and if it's a comic or something interesting, I'll pay attention to that too. But not everytime I see the page, maybe just once or twice.

i take decent notice... if there's something extra in the credits that catches my attention. I definitely notice after rereading a manga twice. Oh yea, I also take a look at the credits if i think the scanlators did a horrible job. (that's one way to get noticed)

I actually read and enjoy the credits page because:
-
these people took time out their lives to scanlate this manga so I should at least take them out of mine to read the credits page
-
Sometimes they are genuinely interesting and funny to read, I don't know how many times I'm laughed at some of my fav groups pages
After reading this trend, never thought about e-mailing some of the groups, usually I just post thanks on their forums or IRC and stay and chat for a min if anyone is around, always felt I would be a little stalkerish to e-mail them but hey now it is another option.
Btw SnoopyCool, you did do an awesome job on Flame of Recca Volume 16, I thoroughly enjoyed that series, it what actually introduced me to your group so thx for the awesome work 😀

Glad you liked it 😎
on topic, on topic...
I hope no one deletes translation note pages along with the credit pages... obviously, credits aren't at all important for the casual reader, but the notes are there for your benefit, so you should always take a look at those.
i love to read the rants some put on the credits page! and i find some of the notes(not noob-related) interesting and helpful 😃

Me, too. I also love to read tidbit facts and their witty comments. 😀

I usually do - although if I'm reading a complete series. for example, and all the credits say the same thing I'll usually flick past them. Been reading manga for about half a year now, and have stated noticing certain "favourite" editors, translators, etc. I like it when there's comments - Lacaille from Aerandia scans has some brilliant comments.

I delete all credits pages before I even read the manga.

If I enjoy the series quite a bit, and I'm reading one of the more recent releases then yes I read the credits pages. I enjoy seeing the different layouts and comments that are on them, and if I find that I like it enough I always want to know the groups website hahaha. But if I'm reading a chapter that was put up months or years ago then I generally don't pay that much attention...
