i wanna tell something funny.. well it is not game but anyway.. u all now pokemon right? it was a big hit in my country like ten years ago. all the children watched the series everyday. and someday some stupid kid just throw himself out of balcony. u know wat he thought himself as a one of pokemons. he was only 5 i guess.. funny huh 🤣 and our goverment find pokemon guilty and banned it. well it was a big uproar in the country. i mean he was only five wat was his parents doing? but they only blamed pokemon....

i think tv or games not the reason for stupid behaviors. i think they only trigger wat is inside. and if u get influenced by this things then something already is wrong with u... dont u have an organ called brain. think a little. and why do they always get influenced by bad things?? that is a wonder too 😕

Edit: From a ethical stand point, If Thailand feels that GTA should get banned for demonstrating how to rob a taxi, then they should also feel that certain religions should be banned for supporting violent acts as well.

That's dangerously close to offending certain religious supporters (I'm holding myself back from debating against this post).

Stick to debating about the topic at hand: the stupidity of banning video games because of stupid people. That's the basic premise, right? Although this doesn't really seem like much of a debate since everyone here seems to agree that banning video games because of some stupid people is ridiculous.

I wonder what it would be like now if electronic games had existed since many centuries and were an untouchable part of some cultures by now but religions were just recently invented.
We would most likely ban religions.

So basically, the ''logic'' behind that is: what was there first is good and the new things are always evil.

But what is invented first is decided by chance and deciding what is good and what is bad by chance is undeniably stupid. So all old religions are protected by a wall of stupidity making them immune to reason, meaning we cannot harm them.

I don't get what's the problem with the game? Okay, I admit is looks and sounds totally GAY but it can't be the most violent game in the world. Nowadays teher are tons on violent games, movies, books, anything.
