one of the two mains is turned into a vampire in a humans vs vampires world but still retains most of his old sentiments of conflict towards the vampires

Pupa - brother/sister team where both are fighting against turning into monsters. This is probably the closest to Tokyo Ghoul in terms of feeling.

Kimetsu no yaiba Another brother/sister team however:

its about a guy trying desperately to stop his sister from fully turning into a demon. So the sister is the one that gains the demonic powers but he's still the mc

D. Grayman I think it had something similar to that plot later on, and there are elements of that dropped into the plot as a whole. Though not as clear cut as the other recs are.

Kouya ni Kemono Doukokusu-It fits the criteria, though its a bit of an older style with more slapstick comedy in the background. Base plot is interesting though.
