I've found when cleaning its hard to tell if the drool is actually a dust mark or part of the picture. Very annoying. 😐

I'd assume that it (drooling in adult targeted manga in this context) has to do with the physiological response to acquiring and/or the anticipation of acquiring a desired outcome/product/encounter etc. Pupils dilate, heart rate increases, perspiration increases, and you salivate due to the endorphins, serotonin, etc., that is released in your brain. So it's a natural occurance.

It does happen in real life, as well.

But I personally believe that all these adult materials are just an exaggeration of real life.

I have to say it looks disgusting when they overflow-usually females in manga are the only ones in possession of salivary glands- guys dont have 'em!

It looks weirder because most manga ppl have teeny mouths and enormous heads.luscious lips in every panel are a rarety ...
