After your death, what should your spouse do?

It's a purely subjective matter, so anyone who 'flames' you is a fool. That said, it looks like the clumsy wording of the first post is the biggest influence in everyone's response. We have ten different people posting, with ten different ideas of what "a young age" is.
Is a "young age" 20? 30? 40? 50? 60? It's impossible to discuss an already subjective matter without laying down a decent framework, really.
On a personal level, both my grandpas died in their 40's (I never met either of them). One grandma remarried, one didn't, so truthfully, I can see it both ways. Although admittedly, I'm probably biased towards "remarry", since that grandparent lived long enough for me to reach an age that allowed me to look past the guise of "grandma" to see "a person with needs, wants, and problems".
Ha, ha... I also have a divorced, 27-year-old cousin who's currently dating a man in his mid-forties, and has been dating him for over a year, so perhaps I'm just warped. shrugs

I would most likely come back as a ghost and we'll have a bunch of human-ghost sex like in that one manga Dx...

It would have been a more interesting thread if it wasn't particularly serious....
Maybe with answers such as "Sati: Burn Baby, Burn," "Befoul My Final Resting Place," and "Marry My Relative."

Death is one of those wonderful, amazing things that after experiencing, past and future no long bother you.
So I say - if hubby/wifey wanna bone somebody else (and not my rotting corpse) they have my blessing.
I'd rather not come across as a selfish bitch. 😮
And it's not like I have a say in all this.
Because, you know, I'm dead.
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.
