It's almost Xmas! Hurrah.
For those of you who celebrate it, and even those who don't, what are your favorite Christmas movies?
I was inspired by this movie, which was just released. I haven't even seen it, but it looks so awesome I wanted to share.
Rare Exports
There are two shorts too! And they are awesome! Rare Exports Inc. Rare Exports: The Official Safety Instructions
It's really the best thing since the Nightmare Before Christmas or that Nazi zombie movie came out, right?

Sorry... I'm feeling lazy to link them to some movie database, but: (and these are my favorites)
The Sound of Music -- even though it's not Christmas... but it's family-oriented
Home Alone
Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
A Series of Unfortunate Events -- seriously don't know why, but I like watching this during the winter season... even though it's got nothing to do with Christmas...
Disney's Beauty and the Beast -- hooray for sing-alongs! and again... nothing to do with Christmas...
TV specials --
A Charlie Brown Christmas -- the children are so adorable!
I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown -- how can a 4 year old be so intelligent?!

Nightmare before Christmas is awesome!
I watched an anime Christmas film last year and it is now my favourite crimbo film ever. I recommend watching it, it's Satoshi Kon's Tokyo Godfathers. It's animated beautifully, is hilarious and has all of that warm happy crimbo feeling that you want a Christmas film to have.

I agree with these. Classics they are.

Why hasn’t anybody said ‘The Grinch’? That movie is awesome at this time of year. 😀
My purpose, is to find purpose.

Oh, the one with Arnold Swetzenager! I don't know it's name...The movie is about him looking for some kind of robot for his son and he has trouble finding it because it has sold out or something. I really liked it. 😀 And Miracle on 48th Street (?) Don't know if that is the correct name...but is really good.
Yeah, I third Home Alone, too. Classics. And second the Grinch (I guess I like alot of Christmas Movies 🤣 )

Then, you should watch it yourself and make your own opinions about it.

does** "The last Unicorn"** count? it's not exactly about Christmas, but in my country it's always on TV on Christmas. It's almost a tradition to watch it then x3 and it's really great xD
There's nothing to see here. Proceed with what you were doing or throw rainbows at random pedestrians.

i am going to have to go with How the Grinch Stole Christmas! and I prefer the one with Jim Carrey over the cartoon!

"Elf"
It's just awesome. Will Ferrel is a human raised in Santa's workshop and goes to New York to find his father after discovering he's human. It's comedic, it's witty, it's adorable. Love love love it.
(And they make MODERN toys in santa's workshop, not wooden cars and crap! Etch-a-sketches, hotwheels!)

"A Christmas Carol" (Jim Carrey's version)
The old versions are good, but the animation was superb in this film and it stayed really true to the original story. And it had a quirky-Jim-Carry-take on it, which I loved 😀

"It's a Wonderful Life"
Watch it every Christmas Eve. If you don't like this movie, well, frankly, I don't know what's wrong with you 🙂 Mind you, it's from the 40's, so take it for what it's worth!

Classic movie 😮

It's Jingle All the Way 😀
I pretty much know every good christmas movie as it's a big thing for my family
😛
P.S. That "Rare Exports" film looks hilarious!! xD
