i read this a while back, not sure if it was a one-shot or apart of a series.
from what i can remember:
a boys father dies when he was a kid and he's mother having a hard time coping, so they live with another guy (a student or friend of the father). the mother blames this other guy for being his lovers (and i think his death<<not so sure about this part) . The boy looks up to this guy since he looks after him and praises his cooking while his mother is depressed, he eventually begins to fall in love with him. i think the kid and mother moves out. years later after the boy has became an adult he returns to the guy and confesses to him. He says he doesn't care if he is his father's replacement, but the guy doesn't see him as a replacement.

Darn! I know I've read this before and recently too! It was a oneshot that's why it's so hard to find in the database. Anyway if this is the same series I'm talking about I know that there's a scene when the mother takes out her anger at the guy and I think she:

rapes him...

Not sure though. Hopefully someone else can help you, cause I want to read this again. 😀
