I'm know for a sturdy enough material we could use carbon nano-tubes. Its stronger than steel and titanium and it's about 1/6 the weight of steel. For an energy source there is always hydrogen energy, once we can harness it. The only problem would be the size of the motor, but i think if people really think about how to create freaking small motors to work for things like Air-treks someone could probably come up with something or we could use something like mag.nets to spin the wheels somehow or make the whole thing run on a simple magnetic field. The only thing that would least resemble how they run in the manga is pobably the way you control the speed. In the manga it worked like pressure pads I think. You would probably have to have some kind of hand device to control the speend unless 1 of you can think of something different. I'm pretty sure that covers almost the whole thing. Tell me if I missed any thing.

Oh and if u want something like the roller skates with motors go buy a weed whacker. It's probably cheaper 😀

true. lets say you do have all the necessary technology to make A-T, there still one problem; the human body. as mentioned, at a high speed (lets say 50km/h), its impossible, no matter what stance you take, to maintain the body balance. even if you did, it is dangerous. you trip, and you're likely to die 90% of the time at such speed.

haha funny that I just came home from riding inlines when I read this, I've been riding for like 10 years now and done all crazy kinda stuff. Tho I wouldin't really agree with people saying that the human body can't handle the "high speeds".

If you use big wheels like in Air Gear you gain alot more stability during high speeds, more wheels even more stability however the weight may decrease your mobility and make you more tired. I remember when I hold on to the back of a motorcycle once wasn't much problem there as long as you keep one leg infront of the other it works the same way as when adding wheels 😀 (hella funny too).

Riding on walls may be a bit to crazy and unrealistic tho even though I can do a wallbackflip without inlines doing it WITH inlines is awhole other deal first of all the friction from your feet against the wall won't let you kick off and you'll end up landing on your back...(trust me it's not nice feeling when you can't catch your breath) also at high speeds anyone would use PROTECTION it's not like all motocyclists have a death wish right 🤣

PS. don't try to grind on a rusty, spiky cylinder you might fall and bleed 😲

its possible to mantain balance if you train.i dont remember the exact speed, but a skateboarder made a speed record of 120 mph ou km/h i think. He was pulled by a motorcycle and i saw it on tv on a chanel like discovry or smth..

yeah, i now the examples are more for skateboard, but thats just because skateboard is curruntly more mainstream.
these sports are always evolving, and every new generation is better and does things that were though as impossible.
i mean, a skater already jumped the great wall of china! and dropped from the hard rock cafe guitar!

in the future with motor bords and skates. there will be a lot more possibilities.
something like air treck will probably happen in the future

Shock absorbers. Or the constant strain of landing would kill your joints really fast.

the joints arent that big of a problem if you always warm up and know how to land. ive pro skaters jump from a 3meter heigh to flat land. and i think inliners normaly jump even greater heighs. anyway, look at free runners. they drop from insane heighs and role to absorve impact. with skates is more easy to absorve the impact bc you're roling on the ground and not falling strait down

Good point, I guess since your kinetic energy is mainly moving forward and with the speed (if you can figure out how to get it going fast) then the landing could be pretty soft 😃

I started thinking and I figured out another possible motor to make a pair of AT's move could be a combination of a kinetic motor (the faster you go the faster the motor spins) and magnetic motor (which would eliminate the problem of friction and the AT's getting melted to your feet)

Were pretty much making the AT's right now some rich genius guy is gunna read this and be like we can make this. lol 🤣
