As a scanlator, I feel so sad about this... many scanlation groups are already making their own move regarding the news about scans, publishers and etc... I did my own move too...

anyway, I think most scanlation groups will end up like this.. specially the big and well-known ones...

but it's much better than faces legal matters in the future...

Sad to see them go but good luck to all the NBM staff wherever they end up going and to the MS staff as well. I hope they can keep up the pace that NBM set.

Regarding the scanlation situation, I doubt they will go for individual scanlation groups immediately. More likely they will first try to shut down online manga viewing sites like MangaFox OneManga, etc. since those carry thousands of manga titles and they mentioned people using mobiles and whatnot to view manga scanlations so this would be their primary target.
