I just want to see if anyone else want to talk about REC and i was wondering why they dont make more episodes for REC because the manga is freaken great!! 😁

Heh.. I would think some other chars are more messed up than Ao, but maybe volume05 isn't enough to know. Maybe I am just being biased, though.. a bit.

You could take the katakana and pronounce it based off the title レック (rekku) and guess from there.. but maybe in the anime it's vocal (and different than I imagine.. like how in s.CRY.ed they pronounce it in at the half-way part of the episode).

Chapter 24 completely ruined the whole series. I don't care if she didn't go through with it. She let that guy fondle her sexually and would have put up no resistance if he had gone further. That was cheating. She showed no regret or remorse afterward and continued on with her same cheery self as if she learned nothing from the experience.

Nope i think you are wrong harmonious. It was not ruining the whole series. it gave it more depth in story elements and especially in the characters.
Of course it is a break! i think the author have to kept the excitement up.
anyway i think REC is a good series!
Everytime i read bakuman i hope there is another chapter of rec. looking forward for it.

i agree with u! i freaking hate that chapter, it made me hate Ao so much! she let that guy touch her and almost do her. I seriously hope that that secret gets exposed, I mean after that the guy said "dont tell Mastumaru about this" i got so damn mad!!!!!!!!!! GRRRR!!! just thinking about it makes me mad!!!!!!!! and u cant say that Mastumaru ever cheated on Ao too, he was faithful, its just that he was caught in bad situations and he actually resisted the sex from other women. I completely agree.

I dropped the series at chapter 24 as well because of the NTR. It has been a while and I wanted to pick it up again since I don't like to have dropped series in my list since I'm kind of a completionist but reading the comments here made me reconsider. I wonder what the author was thinking when he made that chapter, really.

Sorry to revive this thread, but I watched the anime and liked it very much, so I've decided to read the manga.

Thing is, do the autor have intentions of finishing it in the near future? I don't wanna read a manga for years and still waiting for its end (like Homunculus... oh, how I suffered...)

I doubt it's going to end soon, but as I think it can still go on for quite a while. After I look back on REC, I think you guys should continue REC. I understand that the NTR killed it for a lot of people, but after picking this series up(a while ago) it gets better and WAY more lighthearted and there is less drama. I just hate that she never tells Matsumaru(at least I don't remember her telling him, it's been a while) what happened. It's better to continue reading this manga because if you ended it after chapter 24, then it will leave a bitter taste in your mouth, so I suggest continue reading it if you actually wanted to read REC.
