I wanna read Roots of A also! I wonder if Null's gonna pick it up.
And for those who are wondering about the drama, yes, it is awesome! It was filmed in a very stylized way, which was a new way of watching a drama for me so I thought it was very cool. The acting was great too. I loved Matsuda Shota as Akiyama Shinichi, but his face was too boyish to look as devious as manga Akiyama. ^^;
At first I thought, why a drama instead of an anime? But I was really glad to have watched it. The ending was a bit disappointing for me because I expected more (the drama ended before the manga so they created their own ending), but that just makes me all the more excited for the manga's ending. I wouldn't have wanted to be spoiled of the manga ending anyway. Other than the ending and a few character and plot alterations, the drama follows the manga very closely right down to the same dialogue in the manga.

**It's pretty cool. The best part of the manga though is the faces they make.
It's always like 😲 OH NOEZ I DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING
and then 😎 you fell right for my trap**
hahahahaa, thats so true.... one of those mangas with exaggerated expressions and impressions.... but i guess thats why i also like that manga.... i wonder why liar game is not even at the top 100s, is it because its new? or is it cause im one of the few that likes it?
I think it's because it consists almost entirely of xanatos gambits within xanatos gambits...
It's not bad, but it's not really amazing either (imo, anyway) shrug. The majority of people tend to prefer shounen/shoujo, and this isn't exactly the best manga in its genres, I guess?

NightSwan also said that she wanted to peg me, once, but I'm not sure whether to take that as a compliment or a threat...

Just a question, does the female protagonist ever wise up? I dropped this after she moronically volunteers to join the Liar game a second time. I couldn't handle her stupidity any longer.

I guess she becomes less annoying later on. She is too pathetic in the first couple volumes 🤣

yea i love reading that manga....
the story really progresses deeply yet still has its edge...
though the drama isnt recommended... its just like the manga without any clever converting to reality, with just actors trying to act it out..
no offense to that drama, but the acting seems 3rd rate-ish...
i mean, the only thing i dont like about that drama is... they're all about face, not talent... i mean no matter how good you look, and you act a doushe, ull obviously look like an idiot....
but i loved how japan did death note and especially battle royale.... i wish they did something similar to that...

Yeah, Nao does grow out of her naivete a bit. I think it starts around volume 5 or 6 and I think she shows more of her growth in the 7th volume.
She even successfully deceives someone to get what she wants. And that's without Akiyama telling her what to do. Then again, you could still say she's naive, considering the fact that her sole purpose for participating in the Liar Game now is to save everyone.
kick ass manga...
if you thought death note of code geass were clever, you should try this

It's really a good manga. I'm looking forward to read new chapters. But i think in that genre Kaiji is the best (imo).

the manga is cooler than the drama IMO.
I've been reading this ever since the first chapter was translated.
strangely Akiyama reminds me so much of L from death note...maybe it's his intelligence?
I haven't watched the drama yet..I'm not really sure if I want to watch the drama. I'm a bit wary that the drama might ruin Liar Game for me, if you know what I mean

I hear you say "Why?" Always "Why?" You see things; and you say "Why?" But I dream things that never were; and I say "Why not?"
