hey guys, i just wondering. here at MU there is a lot manga freak that u could meet and make friends. but has anyone of u guys meet each other and end up hooking up together?? of course its opposite sex. not same gender. if it same gender, well thats another story.

Dunno...ask the admins, they've been here the longest. Haven't really met too many girls here though just 2 or 3 I can think of atm

On this site, a person has a hard time finding someone within the same country, let alone finding someone a date-able distance away.

hmm, I've never met any of the other admins/mods/updaters. I've been to a few conventions and plan on going to a few more, maybe i'll meet someone there. Not really planning on "hooking up" with anyone though 🙂

Yeah, even we admins haven't exactly met in real life before. Well, the anime side of B-U has...(basically all in Canada), but the manga side here is much more spread out. For instance, Manick lives over on the East Coast while I'm on the West Coast.

I've never met anybody from here, but I have met some people I know and met on the net.

Would I date someone I met on the net in real life? It possible. I believe if people have certain connections or chemistry, they can work. Dating is hard, though. Internet dating is just the same, but has its own parts that make it more difficult, I believe.

But, overall, I probably couldn't date someone unless they were an Otaku. It'd just be alot easier than having to always explain to my girlfriend why I read so much "comics" and why I watch so many "cartoons" (I assume she'd refer to them as such).

It's my hope some day to marry an Otaku wife. 😀

See, that way I won't get in trouble for spending money on anime, manga, or video games. 😀
