Is cool to make friends online, but i agree with the overprotective parents that it can be dangerous to meet tham or hook up with them in real life. and half the fun is meeting peole from too far away to meet up with in real life.

If I could find a female online on this site that was open minded enough to meet in person, not an axe murder, not complete otaku, and located in my general vicinity, and of proper age (18+) I would be fine trying a date or two.
That said, I don't care too much for internet meetings because I am shallow. 😢

Meeting people on the internet is equally as dangerous as meeting people in real life. The only time its more dangerous is when you are stupid about it and meet them at their house. I've met several people in person whom I had met online, though I had spoken with them for around a year a piece. It's simply not a good idea to meet someone in a chat room, and have them come over to your house 3 days later.

I concur. Though in a way I kind of like it more, because it keeps me from deciding before hand that it would never work out.

I'm stll too new to MU but even if I did get to know someone from here really well I'd still think it's weird to meet up.
I never tried internet dating and I never will.

No one lives near me, but if I did meet up from someone from the site, I cannot say if I'd date them or not. Depends on who they are and how we get along.

if i had i would love to meet with him but i don't know about dating. Dating just because he is from MU seems a little bit wrong.

I'm a actually surprised this thread wasn't started by Doc...
but if there was anyone from MU in my area and i met her offline (assuming she was of legal age) i would act as i always act...only thing is that we would probably talk about manga/anime, which i rarely do when not on this site.
