Sounds like the upstairs toilet in my house, which was converted from a closet, no one ever goes in there anymore, I used to think in there and no one would bother me (I have a downstairs toilet as well) but now it's blocked off by boxes so I can't go in there anymore. 😢

When I was little, we lived in a house with a nice, smallish, fenced-in backyard. I used to climb up onto one of the posts in the back corner, away from windowes so no one could watch me. I'd bring a book, but I'd never actually read it - it was just there for appearances sake. I'd sit in the sunshine for a while and just think. It was nice...

I have a bed surrounded by thick velvet curtains. It makes a perfect cave and a total retreat from the world, if I need it.

i'm at my "special place" whenever i listen to music...i don't have a physical "special place" since my house is tiny~ the closest to a "secret place" is probably the park near my house, where i once had to escape to after a huuuuge fight with my brother...
dunno why but i really enjoy walking or just being among a crowd of loud and noisy people while blasting my ears out with rock music on the highest volume 🤣 kinda gives me an out-of-body feeling 🙄

my "secret places" dont differ from the usual.. the bed, especially before falling asleep i think about different things.. then, typical for a guy, comes the toilet haven 😀 and the bath.. and lastly anytime when i go or wait somewhere, use the subway while having some music in my ears..i just slowly drift away into my own world.. completely oblivious of the surroundings 🤨

My secret place is shared with my close friend 🙂
It takes about 30 minutes to drive there. (Yes, 30 minutes of driving there, then spending countless hours at the secret place sitting, chatting, and relaxing.) >__>
Anyways, we only go there at midnight-morning. When the sun hasn't come up yet. 🙂
It's the highest paved place in the whole city, and at night, you see all those pretty lights from the cars, buildings, and streets.
It's an actual Sea of Lights <--click.
Not such a secret place anymore since i posted it here, huh. But it's a perfect place for me!

😲 I envy you to no limits... I envy you very very badly... That place would be heaven for me.
As for me... my secret place is the roof. If I notice someone coming up to bother me, I simply jump across other roofs to some roof of a different house. I hate interruptions in my Solitude...
