When I first saw a harem anime (it was Love Hina) I was surprised at the masochistic nature of the lead character. All those endless punches, kicks and humiliations, and almost all of the time he is actually innocent. I am a bit into BDSM, so of course I look at all this from that point of view, too, but I am more dom than sub, so this side of anime/manga is sometimes err disturbing for me... Well, I got used to boys' "submissive role" in many anime/mangas, something like perceiving it as an important part of the style.

But then I saw this title - Mahou Shoujo Neko X, and it was like a revelation to me. Because the leading male character beats the lead female character for the very same reason, for which he would be beaten instead if he was a character of any other similar manga.

So what I am looking for is manga where girls are being dominated by boys.

The amount of ecchi doesn't matter much, although it would be good to have some.

It has to be shounen/seinen-oriented, because I tried those "smut" things, it's some wierd masochistic shoujo romance, doesn't interest me.

It has to be a non-hentai piece (what I mean, one can easily find a hentai full of submissive girls, but I want a story with a plot, not just something to jerk off to).

It has to be a true "one being on top of the other" thing, not just fetish or roleplay.

Nana to Kaoru? No, it's just roleplay, and Nana occasionally punches Kaoru in the face.
DearS? Well, I've only seen the anime, haven't read the manga, but still I'd say no, because the main character doesn't like this role of a "goshujin-sama" and doesn't play it at all.
And so on.

If you think you know some titles that are similar to what I am looking for, please be so kind and tell me about them.

I just remembered Mai-Z-Hime - several light BDSM references and especially the way Nagi treated Nina. This is indeed what I'm looking for, although these things were a bit too rare in that manga.
