the ending of claymore anime was complete bullshit the last 4ish eps never happened its just stupid shit they made up so they could end the anime when the manga continues long after and just gets even more amazing afterwards lol

and @ bmiller......ight good....because those whole last 4 episode were utter garbage...i'm really glad they didnt really take place in the manga, so yeah i'll get back into Claymore a little later.....i do kind of miss Clair slicing monsters into pieces....but that damn Raki,...no wont even comment on him, and as for Get Backers.....i know there was an anime for it, but i dont think i ever saw an episode..so i'll take a look at it

and @ jucifer.....main characters a thug huh?...i think i'll pause Angel Densetsu and read the first chapter right now then......that mangas fuckin hilarious by the way, it's just so dam old and ugly lookin.....it's a dam shame

Slam Dunk which is in my opinion the best. manga. ever. Art's not so great in the beginning, but it gets a whole lot better. It's long too, 31 volumes and the characters do have depth to them. (Hanamichi, hurhur.)

Gokusen which I've only recently started to read. But have finished the 113 chapters scanslated so far in 2 sittings. (Yes, it's that good.) Art is an acquired taste though. Character-wise, they're interesting.

Hanakimi I like this. Plot - interesting. Length - 20+ volumes. Art - awesome.

Tokyo Crazy Paradise Well, if you didn't like the art of Skip Beat, this isn't much better. BUT. Great storyline, characters, length, etc... Again, art an acquired taste but it gets better too.

I'm sure you've already heard of these, but if you had passed it the first time, it's right smack in your face again.

You want some masterpieces? Most of the manga suggested by other users belong to the recent series and no matter how you look at it, they follow pretty much the manga stereotype (with exceptions such as Eden or Sanctuary). Looking on your reading list you are lacking the most basic seinen manga. It belongs to the basic reading list of every manga reader who calls himself experienced in the manga field. The godfather of most samurai manga including vagabond. a manga that would lay the path for many shounen series including naruto characters. LONE WOLF AND CUB.

Agreed. I just dropped the claymore anime when I saw it veer off and picked up the manga.

I recommend The Flower of Evil. I guarantee that the plot is unique and different. There are a lot of angsty moments, and it has incest in it though.
