Aren't mirrors creepy?

Nope. Well, my eyes sometimes reflect odd things that look different but are just normal bathroom things 😀

No. What would creep me out is a world without mirrors.

trying asking out for a date, and then say yes silently. Amazingly it will agree to go on a date with you, with a silent yes. 🤣

I've never been the superstitious type so mirrors themselves aren't creepy but mirrors + the dark: makes me uneasy.
Common sense just isn't that common
The question to be creeped out about is: if mirrors always show a reflection, what do they really look like?

well stoned philosopher, the mirror shows me nothing. There's nothing there. What then does the philosopher say about a man with no reflection?

At night, maybe, when you can't see yourself in the mirror because it's so dark, but you can see eery lights in the mirror, reflected from the window or somewhere else.
During the day they're not scary at all, unless you're really damn ugly and your own face is horrifying. Mirrors are nice; you look in them to make sure you still look pretty.

philosophical answer: What can't be grasped with your senses isn't necessarily not there. Don't overtrust your senses for they have limits.
non-philosophical answer: turn on the light.

The glass is usually on the teal side of green. The metal that coats the back of the glass is a very shiny silver or aluminum... like you would expect.
Look at the sides of the mirror. If the mirror is encased in something take it out... if you cant, break the mirror (if your feeling lucky) and look at the sides. That's how you'll see the color of the glass.
Another thing you could do is put a mirror behind your head while you look in to another, and you'll see how there seems to be an infinite number of reflections zooming out of the mirror behind your head. If you look farther and farther, you'll notice the reflections get hazy and that haze has a vague color. That vague color is the color of the glass.

That's what the components of the mirror look like. But like the combination of colours can result in a new colour, maybe the combination of the mirror's components also results in something new, something unwanted, something... evil, that lurks behind the reflection.

I never look myself on a mirror when it's dark. NEVER. When I go from bathroom to my room at night I go with eyes closed so that I don't see the mirror after I turn bathroom lights off.
I really think there's something beyond the mirrors. Like a inverted dimension... Maybe it's just odd, but Physics just freaks me out. Even if I get high grades on classes I never manage to entirely understand most of those stuff. It doesn't make sense! @_@ Reality seems to be more strange than fiction.

that doesn't really sound very philosophical.....you're a fake~ 😲
Well my philosophical part would say something like: " A man who sees no reflection of himself does not yet feel like he has accomplished anything. Nor does he remorse or look back on the things he did in the past. Such a man feels no self worth"
that's what Aristotle would say.

I'm pretty darn sure there's nothing there except the physics of light reflection......All energy[light+heat] received by the mirror is mostly reflected back.......you can't create something out of nothing. Even God use "power" to create. Thus a mirror cannot create evil. Only God can create stuff.
or if you are a philosopher: "Why would God give me an object of which is evil in purpose, is harmful in intent, and blah blah blah?"

Well, I think for myself. If you need something officially considered philosophical, my statement would fit into the empiricism.
But that's enough off-topic talk

That makes little to no sense.
Your argument is incomplete. There are things you wish for us to assume, and these assumptions are erroneous.
In order for this statement to make sense, first I would have to acknowledge that God exists. And as a Philosopher, you would be wise to avoid using religion to prove a point.
Secondly, even If you proved that God exists, this statement "you can't create something out of nothing. Even God use 'power' to create. Thus a mirror cannot create evil," isn't completely developed. If God uses energy to create, then why can't a mirror use energy to create evil?
You say that mirrors reflect most of its energy, which is false. Light is the only energy that mirrors can reflect. They can absorb heat and sound waves just like any other glass object.
Third. Your last statement is irrelevant. Why should I assume that God would or wouldn't do such a thing? Because God is always right? Then let me ask you this, if God is always right, then is it that whatever he does is right, or is that he does things because they are right?
Long story short, this boils down to the Divine Command Theory which is currently in Philosophical limbo. In order to prevent this topic from turning to a debate over God and ultimately getting locked, look that up and pm if you must.
I'm simply trying to point out the flaws of your argument.
