Aren't mirrors creepy?

Bloody Mary is just a trick of the mind...but that doesn't make it any less scary.
I'm not really scared of mirrors, but I don't have one in my room, just because I'm dabbling in Feng Shui (not supposed to put mirrors near your bed). I have startled myself a couple of times because of mirrors, especially at night when I wasn't aware a mirror was in a certain place and then you see something moving in the dark and you realize it just you. Creepy. When I was yonger (actually still now lol) I don't look at mirrors inthe dark cause you picture all sorts of things and then you get freaked out. Like i have a thing with black eyes . I watched X-Files a lot since I was 2, and the only episode that got me was the one with burnt out eyes. Then everytime i would look at someones face in the dark, i would see that. shivers

Not really. They don't bother me... Except that I have some creepy-ass eyes. I only really notice when I look in mirrors. I always used to assume it was from a lack of sleep or something, but they look like that all the time.
Mirrors are the thing I'm most scared of in this world.
Toss me in a room with a mirror in the dark, and I will start screaming hysterically.
Not to give any ideas...

I have nothing against mirrors. I'm not creeped out by them. In fact, I usually fool around when I'm in front of one. That's not egotistical ;D It's fun to play with them too. Like angle them and stuff... I think I'm just too used to them 😛

I do not like looking at mirrors more than necessary ...
I will not even glance at one in the dark because my eyes play tricks on me constantly.
Since my eyes always plays tricks on me ... I try not to pass them because I always think I see something in my peripheral vision.
Mirrors themselves aren't creepy, but how my eyes are mean to me makes them creepy in some cases.
Yes yes, I know I make longwinded comments, but that's just me >.<
I should proof read my comments more, but I won't...
So keep in mind I'm filled with typos

Mirrors are creepy in the dark, period.

YES and if you know the old legends and myths about them they are beyond creepy
also I pick on one of my friends saying he is one of the escaped mirror people (he's left handed)
a funny story some of my friends were playing hide and seek (they were around 17 at the time)
one of them had just moved so new house, playing hide and seek in the dark
the one IT saw movement, he ran at it and loud noises followed the ones hiding turned on the lights to find him naked and laying in broken mirror pieces, it was this huge mirror across the wall
(he thought it would be funny to chase them in just his jocks)

Mirrors do not scare me. The only exceptions are if I'm in a creepy house looking into an antique mirror because then I don't know what to expect. How often does that occur though? I don't think its happened yet or at least not that I recall. Another exception, probably if I'm in a room with creepy dolls and I see them when I look in the mirror but that would be more of a fear of the dolls then the mirror. That has happened a few times. I especially hate that when it happens in the dark.
I don't worry about old tales regarding mirrors. Whenever I think of those I tend to think of the one regarding the sisters that were given a mirror and found that they were ugly and became dissatisfied with their lives afterwards and envied others. I think one of the sisters was pretty and became hated by the other sister/s and in the end I'm pretty sure the mirror ended up getting smashed during a fight between them.
I don't know how I'd live with out a mirror. My hair would always be a mess otherwise. Such is the sufferings of a girl with curly long hair that tends to frizz.
I have a lot of fond memories with mirrors. My baby cousin loves to stare at his reflection because I use it to play peek-a-boo with him and he says baby when he sees himself, it's cute. My bird also starts tweeting when she sees her reflection, she loves to see herself.
Hence, I see no real reason to fear or see mirrors as creepy. I use them to my advantage whenever I need to.
