Well.... Gin's Bankai was... so.... dissappointing..... all it does is stretch 13 km that's pretty damn long.... but still.... wow....dissappointment. and we barely saw the action between isshin and aizne =_=

Well, I could say I was expecting more from Gin... but I wasn't. >.> Not that I don't think he's a cool character and all, I just wasn't all that interested in his bankai I suppose. Hmm, it made me wonder what he meant by 'creepy'. It's probably nothing important, but it just seems to hinting something. (I'm most likely thinking too much)

I've been waiting so long for Ichigo to start acting like a badass again and now that he's finally acting like a badass I feel...nothing. While I'm glad he's no longer whining like a baby anymore, it just didn't have the same awesome factor it used to have back in the day when Bleach first started.

Hopefully there's more to Gin's bankai than it just being 13km long. Although I reckon he's just gonna whip out his mask and then go ressurection straight after just like Tosen did.

Hmm yea this was a boring chapter, the last couple of weeks was starting to get interesting again and now what the hell happened?

well my guess is ichigos pulled another of his (rawr i am super-powerful now) moments or gins just weak as shit. the power levels in this manga never made sense to me. its less of a spectrum and more like everyone has turns being most powerful guy of the day.

in theory gins bankai is pretty powerful its massive(and thus prolly as powerful as captain doggys) and massively long so u can't dodge it. if it can go into its small form and large form it would be pretty devastating, but as i said above its ichigos turn to be the most powerful one of the day, so its rendered useless. meh it prolly has a few more tricks up its sleeve

The rest of the chapter, didn't have anywhere near as much impact.

Well, that was disappointing. I was expecting so much more from Gin... I actually thought he'd end up being stronger than Aizen. Hopefully, he has some crazy tricks up his sleeve to restore his former badassness.

On another note, did anyone find it strange that Gin still calls Aizen, "Captain Aizen"? I'm not sure if he has been doing this all along during the Hueco Mundo and Karakura arcs or not, but maybe this actually means he is still tied down to the Gotei 13 system mentally and emotionally. Or maybe I am just over thinking things =\

Agreed. Maybe he'll pull something stunty or twisty or somesuchy next week. Or maybe not. Whatever. Weirdo.

Still, I liked this chapter. The action was fast paced and there wasn't a lot of speech-mongering. There was a little, but it didn't overwhelm the action and does reveal some moist (though not juicy) tidbits about Gin and Ichigo. In contrast, I feel like up until the last few chapters this arc has consisted mostly of pompous blathering between Captains and Arrancar that has done nothing to advance to the plot. Everyone is out of commission. Fat lot of good all that talking did them.

I also like that Isshin and Aizen are just plain fighting. I mean, they're having an actual battle. And its pretty intense. Maybe that's why they both kick so much ass: they know when to shut the hell up and fight. This splicing back and forth between Ichigo v Gin and Isshin v Aizen is kind of cool, too. Aizen & Isshin's waltzing balances out Gin & Ichigo's chit-chat. Spiffy.

Thought the color insert was cool, too. Shinji does come off as an LP junkie. I wonder what he's listening too. 🤣

So, Gin's Bankai just makes his sword longer than usual? I'm hoping that's not it. It'll be pretty lame if that's it. Where's the creativity? I hope next chapter we see him do something unbelievable with it, but I'm not giving myself false hope.

Like most of you, I'm guessing that Gin's bankai can do more than this. It would be fairly pointless otherwise. A while back, Ichigo's father said that captains control their zanpakuto so that they are small. If they didn't do this, every captain level soul reaper would carry around a sky-scraper....which is basically what Gin is now calling his bankai. But, that statement was made more than 100 chapters ago, so Tite has, no doubt, forgotten all about it.

I am just curious here, but how many people are reading this manga because they still enjoy it? And, how many people are reading this manga just because they feel like they have to finish it?
