depends on the genre. in action games definately gameplay b/c it keeps me interested, but its alot harder to screw over gameplay in an rpg so story in that area. whatever keeps me interested in the game

obviously I can play without sound... gameplay gives me good enjoyment..

next in line is story. graphics takes third. i'm not much of an audiophile of any sort, so sound/music takes fourth.

I'm an RPG player, so story for me...

Story makes the gameplay in many RPG's (Fallout 1-2, and MUDs).

However my favourite would be gameplay. Check out any classic bullfrog games to find out why.
