btw welcome back Kaioh. glad to see you found your way back and got your comp fixed and everything (mostly anyways). and yeah 300 was nice but inno bout best comic book adaptation << was missing a one or two choice scenes from comic which i was really looking for and that added story to the movie. well was still coo. but yeah inno if i can pick the best adapation or which one stayed the most true to the original. well havent read a few comic books turned movies so cant really speak on a couple. ie v for vendetta, sin city, hellboy, constantine, punisher. while all good movies yeah inno bout the comics. but yeah i guess you said that you've seen... stops ranting need to read watchmen as well... >>
why back in the day we didn't 'download', we had to swim to japan if we wanted fresh anime and that was only if...
I dream of a better tomorrow... where chickens can cross roads and not have their motives questioned.
V For Vendetta, Punisher, and Constantine were not too accurate, as it goes for the plots, aswell as origin's of its characters. Constantine was based on the comic, but quite a bit was changed for the actors and stuff. Punisher changed alot of the original origin to make it seem more gritty, and V For Vendetta completely changed from a 80's themed political statement to a two hour long cheap shop at George Bush (And thats what Alan Moore had to say about it, and also why he kept his name off the film).
Hellboy was pretty accurate, aswell as Sin City. However, Sin City was more like a compilation of short stories, so it made for a perfect film. Sin City 2 should be out sometime later this year, too. Featuring more of the stories being translated to film.
Yeah, even though a few scenes from 300 were missing, it was still better than most comic based films I have seen. I'm seeing it again today, taking my grandfather to go see it.
Thanks for the welcome back. 😀
