Hi, my friend was telling me about the character archetype where a previously atheletic or tomboy type girl changes into someone who's extremely feminine due to love or something. He never mentioned a series tho and now I'm curious, anyone got suggestions?

i cant think of the name of any (or find them in my manga folder) but hopefully you should find plenty if you like shoujo manga.

I.S. is about as close as i can remember to one, as

later on the Intersexed character starts femenizing subconsciously when they fall for this guy. while that sounds yaoi, it doesn't really give off a yaoi feel great manga i'd definately recommend tho

Well Koukou Debut is about a girl who spent all her middle school in sports and so she decides she wants to spend her high school years finding love.. it's pretty good in my opinion. Not life-changing, but a fun read.

Oh, and also, I can't verify this because I haven't read much of the manga, but that volleyball one, Crimson Hero, it seems to me that while the main character doesn't lose her athleticism (sp?) she becomes much more feminine and more aware of love throughout the series.

It's easier to find manga about a tomboy, turning into a light tomboy, with some lady episodes 🤣
We wait for more hints 🙂

Depending on how literal your friend was being, it could be Hot Blooded Woman, where the tomboy heroine goes into a coma and wakes up in this girly-girl's body.

Hmm.

She's more like a creepy ghost than a tomboy, and she hasnt been making alot of progress into turning into a girly girl, but Perfect girl evolution is some what like that :]

i highly recommend Kare First Love. its like a nerdy girl turns really pretty cuz of her bf. and the guy is really popular with girls (as always). but its deep too like he has a past and stuff and they just go through a lot together. its really good

I love W-Juliet, but I wouldn't say Ito goes from tomboy to extreme feminine...more feminine, yes, but she's not all "girly-girly" at the end.
