My nails grow very fast.

And it's so annoying. I don't mind them long, but I tend not to cut them often, and because of my job, they keep on snapping. I don't mean like, chip or anything, I mean proper snapping. Like below that white line, where the pink stuff starts. It frigging hurts! I can't even pull it off, i have to cut it and let it grow back, so it ends up looking weird 🤣

They're hardly ever uneven (apart from when the above happens ^^; ) I always like to file them down to an even state. I'm lucky I never got into the habit of biting them 😃

Also because of my job, they cannot be painted. I'd be taking it off every week. I see no point. It's a shame though...I like painting them 🙁

I'm a guy, I keep them short, although it's a hassle because they grow really fast.

They're also very weak. I have a bandage around one finger because the nail split open :/
And I always have to clip little bits off when they get jagged; I'm not sure why they do that.

I even applied nail polish , a suggestion from momo, and it works!it keeps me from biting!nail polish ftw!

I had fake nails once, but they're so unpractical.
edit: only light nail polish, I don't like outstanding colors.

My nails are quite strong and I keep them short if I'm not lazy. If they get too long, they split and I have the bad habit of ripping off the hanging part of the nail and that usually doesn't turn out so good and involves a lot of pain.

On girls, I don't like long nails. Keep them below 4 or 5 mm. Also, any nail polish is bad unless it's clear.

GAH! My plot doesn't bend that way!

I try to keep my nails short. When I don't notice, they grow fast, and when I keep looking at them, they take forever to grow. But if I'm not lazy, I try to keep at least my left hand's nails short, since I play guitar and I don't want my nails digging into the wood when I hold down strings.

My nails are naturally long so I don't need to put on those ghastly fake nails. Besides I get annoyed having them long so I clip them most of the time. 😀
