Well, it really depends on whether or not the person in question can sleep when they're that hungry...

Personally, I'd rather sleep first, but it'd be more of a nap than anything. Just enough so I can function somewhat normally.

eat while trying to stay awake! i can´t sleep if i´m hungry, surely i will fail (will eat and then probably stay awake for a little until i fail and fall sleep)

I sleep with an empty stomach.
I always do, because sometimes
I go to sleep around 5-6am in the morning
feeling hungry, but I'm too lazy to
get up again.

Sleep on an empty stomach. Falling asleep doesn't take that long, and once you're knocked out, hunger pangs shouldn't bother you.

I don't eat midnight snacks. Don't need them. =]

the correct thing to do is to eat something light like fruits and veges just enough to make you able to sleep and not feel hungry.

i picked up eat and try to stay awake cause i usually am unable to sleep while hungry.

Probably eat something light, then go to sleep. It seems more rationale to accomplish both tasks as quickly as possible, and you can digest while sleeping. That's assuming I was actually tired and had the opportunity to sleep. Thanks to caffeine, I'm only really tired in the morning before I have coffee these days.

for me i'll just sleep with an empty stomach. it's always been like this.
no harm done. i think my stomach is pretty special after a few hours of hunger, then the hunger will dissapear and replace by fullness... weird, nee...
