Tim McIlrath is....
Not a Woman.
Umm, maybe you should ask a mod to change the thread title, so few people read the opening post nowadays.
But then it's no fun 🙁 .
I think Lambs is at school anyway.

Keysha Coles is dope.... and uhhhh, Alicia Keysis too.....
and there's this one white lady who has a song out (well had a song out) i don't remmember her name, but she can sang too, i like her voice it's way different then most white peoples (don't mean that in a racist way).... but yeah the song was called mercy.....but anyways
as for throwbacks, anybody remember SWV??.. probably not, but they had some raw voices too
SWV was decent.
Keysha Cole is boring IMO. Alicia Keys' last record was meh.
keysha cole's voice boring 😕 ??....she has like one of the best vocal ranges out of every current mainstream singer......
but to each his own, and as for the alicia keys part, i thought we were speaking strictly voices, and nothing else?

Her vocals sounded strained on her last record.
And 99% of mainstream singers voices are so pitch corrected, equalized, and post processed that half the time, the recordings don't sound like the vocalist.

AnNa R. (Andrea Natalie Rosenbaum; singer of the band Rosenstolz)
She is only popular in Germany I think. Listen to "Es ist vorbei" by Rosenstolz and you will know why she is my favorite.
We weep for a bird's cry, but not for a fish's blood. Blessed are those with a voice.
Mariah Carey has a divine voice and so does Whitney Houston..yeah I am old school 😀 ..I like Eve Cassidy too...and Amy Winehouse regardless of her habits..

Liz Buckingham is hot.
(a very late comment on that)
ew, no. I much prefer the energy of Angela and the whole rest of the band. 13 on the whole sounds weak, and excusing it by calling themselves downtempo. A taste issue? absolutely. I like heavy slow things, but they need to have the proper drive, body and presence... the kind of drive that makes you feel like they have enough mass to run through anything, crushing souls like insignificant flies, without picking up or dropping speed. sludge and stoner has the weight but not the drive, in my humble opinion.
But here's another singer: Alzbeth
I don't know if that's a pseudonym or what, neither could I find a last name... I listen to very, very few bands with female vocalist apparently.

The lead singer to Boa, not the korean singer.
The Ting Tings vocalist, and the singer to Tiger Tiger.
